Electrical fault difficult to identify and rectify resulting in vehicle off road for some weeks. Service assistant very helpful kept me informed as to progress and secured approval to goodwill repair after unsuccessful first attempt.
Issue with car persisting and not been sorted. Car has been with dealer three times, with the third time so far for 2 weeks.
Polite and professional service provided by Nicola throughout the process.

Booked a service slot but was advised that car was needed for whole day for an oil change. Came back following day and a courtesy car was provided
My car was recalled for a safety fault. The appointment was a week before the agreed visit planned for a 1 day. On the day It was discovered that the necessary spare was not available and I had to wait until the following day to pick up.

I find it really disappointing that calls have not been returned and there has been little communication to inform us of progress and has required us to make multiple calls to find out the status of the refund.

I sat and waited for my one year old BMW active Tourer to have a check and valet free of charge. During my time at tSytner , Newport, the courtesy and hospitality shown to me by the staff was second to none. M car was treated well too;
I received a very nice courtesy car which allowed me to go about my day and then pick my car up at a convenient time later on

Its a team effort starting with meet and great and a cheerful chat with Wendy before being passed to Amy, Josh, Rachel or Matt.
The service personnel I dealt with (Matthew) made the morning experience as easy as possible

No calls back and updates are poor. Keep having to go back and forth with the car even though the issue is known.
Due to the poor organisation of the day in general and the delay I had at the end of the day whilst awaiting to simply pay for my service.

The customer care continues during the day with updates and a short video showing the inspection/work required. Cerys also explained what work had been undertaken and reassured me that the 'drive' of the vehicle would be unchanged.

Everything completed well and on time, I was kept up to date on what was happening.
Everything oraganised prior to the visit , on the day , the team were able to accommodate a late change in my plans and I was well looked after during waiting time .

4.5 hours for swapping summer to winter wheels. Essentially due to the misplaced winters in store and then wrong info on the report. Staff as always excellent.

I would have given 5 stars, however, after my service and MOT I pointed out a problem with my horn that appeared to have stopped working correctly. This problem was not dealt with and I'm still awaiting a follow-up. Horn worked before the service.

Although I left my car at 8.30 on a Friday morning, the MOT was delayed and I had to collect on Saturday morning, this was not ideal. The courtesy car I was given had almost no fuel in it which was somewhat of an inconvenience also.
Again when there is a delay staff come and keep you updated and informed immediately

Completely wasted my time coming over as nothing got done except for a 2 second job.
I was inform that my car will go for a mot and heath check and I will recive movie from mot check on my email. Heath check was not done and after check recordings from my dash cam I notice, so my car was driven to differend garage for mot check.
Quality reception and workshop staff and facilities
Good, but not excellent.
Service was not completed satisfactorily the engine oil which had been drained had not been replenished which meant I had to replace it (at my own cost) on my first trip following the service

Car not cleaned. On return to car the fault was still displaying - after another hour was told this is normal and would go out. Warning has gone out but still feel that there is something wrong as range is only half of normal and showing refill 0.5l

Failed to return calls left 5 hours ago and had to chase up for updates. Again, not impressed considering the cost I paid for a new car. Not proactive and too casual with their customer interatcion.

Very happy with the service, but disapointed that the communications between my car management company (Pendragon) and BMW. The brake service work should have been sorted between them selves and not left for me to rearrange the work.
Car wasn't cleaned, inside or out, the brake squeal was not sorted out and I waited 20 minutes to be served despite having been asked to attend 30 minutes after planned at 10am and arriving at precisely the time required. Another issue was unresolved
Car was in for a complimentary "1yr birthday" check and clean. Had to wait a bit too long imo to get my car back (almost 45 minutes)
The recall process was very smotth
Inspection and valet was completed on my car in a timely manner. I was asked if I would like to change the brake fluid but wasn't made aware that this wasn't under warranty until I asked. It would be worth saying this early on in the consultation.
Car went in for an oil service and needed an update on navy system, left 1hour later than expected.

The staff are nice. You don't need the middle person. My wife had to wait 30 minutes to give the car keys in. Why can't we just liaise with the mechanics directly. Presumably this would be cheaper.
Follow up service is very poor. Not convinced the problems I put the car in to be looked at was actioned. I was assured there was nothing up with the battery and still awaiting a call reference the wheel hubs. I never been ignored three times of call
All the staff were great and had a good chat with Matthew Dennis he was very helpful and very polite
I was charged £650 for a new vacuum pump and had to take the car back the next day as the engine management warning light reappeared. Then I was told that the vacuum pump sensor was faulty and was replaced free of charge Was that the original fault ?
On my last visit to enquire about tyres, the staff were friendly and answered my questions. However, you are asking nearly twice the cost per tyre as the garage down the road, which is shocking given their price.
You did what I expected you to do.

Because they fixed all my issues under warranty even the wearing parts that were broke due to a fault with a non wearing part.
My service experience wasn't so great. Service took all day wen they said it would be 45 mins. Also no adblue was put in my car.

Andrew Johnson was my contact at bmw Newport and he went out of his way to get me the vehicle and top spec that I wanted, eventually finding the perfect car in transit on the ship mid Atlantic, and then ordering the vehicle and having it delivered

The dealership were great. However the centre (HO) sent me an initial email after the order but then suplied little else and I had expected more about the car and services etc.

My only issue was that the vehicle was pre built stock and a different specification from a new vehicle - felt that this wasn't explained.

The car was originally due for delivery in June, but was delayed in Europe until late August.
Sytner Newport were very open in their negotiations and the options available to me were well explained. I am very pleased with the final outcome and will likely exchange for a new car with them in the future.
There was a delay in getting the vehicle however the sales person was very helpful in getting me a courtesy car. It would have been easier if the car was delivered to the home address but I understand the documents needed to be signed on site.
Very helpful we had what we wanted and we were helped along the way with choices and made very welcome
